Sustainable Tule River Solutions for All

Water is the key to life and the livelihoods of us all. But currently in the Tule River Basin, this livelihood is being challenged and strained to the detriment of its residents.

With ample water produced by snowmelt and spring rains in the early months of each year, the Tule River’s flow dwindles each summer – leaving downstream residents without access to the water they need for basic functions like washing, raising crops or even drinking. This cycle of extremes – shifting between cycles of readily available water supplies to little to no flow within the Tule River – has prompted area residents to search for a better way to move forward.

With an eye toward preserving our resources and unlocking the region’s economic potential, the South Fork Tule River Alliance was formed with the simple goal of providing water certainty for those living and working in California’s Central Valley.

Join the growing coalition of those fighting to secure a better future for the region by taking action today.
