South Fork Tule River Alliance
The Need to Restore Vital Water Resources
For centuries, residents of the Tule River Basin have looked toward the river as a source of their livelihood. However, with no management of the waters flowing through the South Fork of the Tule River, communities have been forced to deal with crippling drought and wasted water resources produced each year by snowmelt and spring rains.
South Fork Tule River Alliance was established by local residents to change that.
Focusing on ways to protect the resources we all hold dear and unlock our region’s economic potential, the South Fork Tule River Alliance is a group of local residents focused on delivering a proactive, attainable solution to this growing crisis.
Securing Water Rights for Future Generations
Thanks largely to the efforts of the Tule River Tribe of California, South Fork Tule River Alliance aims to confirm the federally reserved water rights that will enable future generations of Central Valley residents to thrive and prosper in their communities.
